<image:title>About - I take this work seriously, but not so serious that we can’t have fun!</image:title>
<image:caption>In my personal time, I enjoy being in nature and going on adventures with my family. My yoga practice is an important part of my life, and I’m always open to learning something new. Whether we connect via email, in one of my groups, or we decide to work together one-on-one, I’ll help remind you that healing from trauma doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy life in the process.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - Nichoel Kimmerle, MFT</image:title>
<image:caption>Certified EMDR Therapist in California I’m an EMDR therapist because I’ve witnessed its powerful transformative effects not only in my clients, but in myself. I’ve worked with many different people over the years including juveniles in detention centers, youth in group homes, families in crisis, couples, and individuals experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety. The common thread between these groups of people was some type of trauma, and whether experienced in childhood or as an adult, these traumas stood out and proved that the past can be in our present and many times in very uncomfortable ways. I started to learn more about trauma and ways to help clients heal. In this process, I was able to do my own work and heal from trauma in a way that I didn’t think was possible. I wanted others to feel this freedom, so I became a Certified EMDR Therapist to help my clients release the negative effects of trauma and enjoy life again.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Certified EMDR Therapist in California Whether you’ve experienced a chaotic childhood, abuse as an adolescent, secondary trauma at work, or a horrible accident, the pain from trauma lingers in a distinct way. It seeps into our bodies and we feel it in our muscles and bones; it’s isolating, scary, and often misunderstood. Unlike other forms of therapy, which merely treat the symptoms of trauma, EMDR can help heal the root of your discomfort, allowing the symptoms to naturally decrease or even stop. I know it might feel like life won’t get better. But it can. I’ve helped hundreds of clients recover from traumatic experiences, using EMDR, enabling them to lead normal and happy lives again.</image:caption>
